YES

100 min. – Drama

Logline:
Based on Tim Realbuto’s critically acclaimed Off-Broadway play, YES tells the story of washed up child star Patrick Nolan who decides to mentor 17-year-old Jeremiah Rosenhaft.

Synopsis:
YES tells the story of alcoholic, pill-popping, washed up child star Patrick Nolan (Tim Realbuto, The Emperor’s Club), who is begrudgingly dragged from his nearly uninhabitable apartment by his sister Annie (Jenna Leigh Green, “Sabrina, The Teenage Witch”) to see his niece Aggie (Mavis Simpson-Ernst, “The Americans”) in her high school production of ‘Romeo and Juliet.’ Starring as Romeo is 17-year-old Jeremiah Rosenhaft (Nolan Gould, “Modern Family”), who immediately catches Patrick’s eye. Patrick, who was involved in a scandal involving a minor years earlier (which ruined his career and his life), decides to mentor Jeremiah. What begins as an innocent acting lesson turns into something much more dangerous, resulting in a love affair of two surprisingly common minds. The destruction, or salvation, of the two main characters will last a lifetime. Also starring Oscar Nunez (“The Office”), Siobhan Fallon Hogan (Forrest Gump), Drew Logan Powell (“The Dangerous Book For Boys”), Natalie Roy (“The Affair”), Jeanine Bartel (“Chicago, P.D.”), Doug Plaut (Hurricane Bianca: From Russia With Hate), and Colin Hanlon (“The Sinner”).
